LITUANICA, collectible perfume (2023)

This conceptual fragrance is part of the LITUANICA (olfactoric reminder) project. This project, as an art installation, was prsented by FUM ART gallery at the Cultutre Night '2023 festival.

The fragrance is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the legendary Lithuanian pilots Darius and Girėnas flight across the Atlantic with a small plane named LITUANICA. They started on July 15, 1933 in New York and, after flying across the Atlantic, fell a few days later under unclear circumstances before reaching Kaunas.

In this example of conceptual artistic perfumery you can smell nuances of petrol, oil, tarpaulin, cold metal, seat leather, engine dust, smoke intertwine with deep notes of wet earth and tree foliage. A dark, deep, rich fragrance that conveys an aviation tragedy.
